Explosives

This is a simple conversion to HERO damage for a given weight of explosive without fragmentation, i.e. Normal Damage. It uses the House Rule standard progression of 1.53779192x.

Various types of explosive material require different amounts to achieve the same effect. Thus a Relative Effectiveness modifier is provided for common types. At the very low end, the blast may not fill an entire map hex, in those cases an activation roll is used to determine if a given target experiences damage from the blast.

Example: 1 lb of C4. C4 has a relative effectiveness of 1.34, 1.66 times 1 lb equals 1.66 lbs. Consulting the table, 1.34 lbs of explosive results in a 13d6 Explosion.
